Dip Top

Great place for ice cream, shakes, ice cream cakes even a couple of vegan options!

I usually come to Dip Top for a banana split because I really like this place and the service is normally great. But today I had a bad experience. There was a girl with glasses who was very mean when I asked if she could add more ice cream to my boyfriend’s cup. My ice cream was full, but his only had one scoop of cotton candy, when it’s usually three scoops. When we asked again, she refused to add more even though the portion was clearly too small. We left feeling disappointed because this is not the service we are used to here.

They should train their employees to give consistent potion sizes. Have been there a few times and have gotten OK portion sizes and I’ve also gotten tiny portion sizes. The ice cream is always good though.

I liked Dip-Top so much I visited twice while I was in Orange. Dip-Top has soft-serve, hard-serve and prepared items such as cakes and ice cream sandwiches. Prices are very reasonable for the serving sizes. Employees were very friendly and service was efficient. The interior is small with no seating. There are benches outside on a grassy area. I believe my first visit was on the last day of school and there were many moms with their kids, everyone was having fun and enjoying their ice cream treats. I recommend a visit to Dip-Top when in the area.

Had the best experience with Dip Top ordering a couple of ice cream cakes. The whole process was seamless. Huge thank you to Matt for answering all my initial questions and to Ron the owner for being so helpful with placing the order. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the cakes were a massive hit. Would recommend them 100 times over for anyone celebrating a special occasion. We'll definitely be back!
