Ding Tea East Lansing/ GoMochi

I usually come to Ding Tea and always liked their boba, but lately the experience hasn’t been the same. I’ve asked for less ice, but they still load it up (happened twice now), and the taste just isn’t as good as it used to be. A little disappointing since this used to be my go-to spot.

This is by far the best boba I've ever had... Ever. If I lived closer I'm sure I'd be spending my ask my extra cash there. The taro milk tea with the crystal boba and brown sugar milk tea with golden boba. Edited on 11/25/25- awesome upgrade!

The place smells strongly of chlorine upon walking in - I guess that's a "clean" smell rather than otherwise... but it's weird. I like smelling coffee when walking into a coffee store, or sugar in a donut place, or tea in a tea house. It was towards the end of the day, so maybe they were cleaning up. My first experience at a boba house, I always get the very basic milk tea with boba. Based on previous experiences, I usually start with half ice and half sugar, and that always hits my tastebuds right. Ding did it for me - very strong in the very basic. My group ordered a bunch of other stuff, and no one had any complains. We had a great time sitting and chatting and enjoying our drinks.

Today I ordered two green teas - one with boba. No sweetener. Just tea and ice. We waited 22 minutes and received two teas with sugar. The wait and two drinks we cannot drink. Disappointed.

Variety flavor/drink/topping options, convenient location, high quality and friendly customer service, and cute vibes! Love coming in here, it’s been me and my friends’ spot at MSU thru my time here!! They have a BIG range of drinks and toppings and im rly indecisive but the staff there kindly answered all my questions and helped me pick out what to get - which were always so delicious Their milk teas are non dairy. If u r a coffee lover they also have tasty coffee that u can add boba into😍 And u can adjust sugar and ice amount for most of the drinks. They’re awesome💓💓 My experiences there never failed me but my personal favorites are the strawberry yakult, brown sugar milk tea, mango green tea, and aloe peach juice
