1st Review: The food was delicious! It was well prepared, and the presentation was quite nice. The service from the staff was friendly and efficient all in one. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some good German-type cuisine! 2nd Review: Once again back at Devil’s Acre, and it has yet to disappoint. One of the very first things I have to say about the restaurant, this cozy little nook, would be that the wait staff is so incredibly friendly and attentive in the best way possible. It just adds to the nice ambiance while dining here, making it an enjoyable dinner-time location. Now onto the food: The presentation is once again incredible and well prepared. It looks quite professionally done; props to the chefs! The look of the food is usually not what you visit a re
First time here and we tried the pork schnitzel and Reuben. The schnitzel came with choice of 2 sides, we got the grilled asparagus and the perogies which were good. While the schnitzel was thicker than expected, it tasted good and the bacon jam on top was a nice addition. The Reuben sandwich was loaded and delicious. The service was good and our beverages were also good. We definitely want to come back to try other items.
The hot honey mustard wings here are unmatched. Crispy skin, juicy fall off the bone meat, and tremendous flavor. I also love their well curated German beer selection. This place is great!
Perfect German inspired gastropub; it has everything you’re looking for. Great beer, great atmosphere, and of course great food. The kielbasa dip is a must try for an appetizer; so flavorful and they give a ton of bread. The sandwiches we shared were also both great. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
We had a great experience for our first visit to the Devil's Acre Tavern. We set a reservation on open table, which was not needed. This German influenced tavern has a good beer menu and an interesting selection of appetizers and entrees. Our excellent service was provided by Rhea. On her recommendation we tried the Kielbasa Dip - a completely new appetizer for us. Great smokey flavor and good texture on the grilled bread rounds. We also tried the softer then expected Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese. For our entrees we had the Pork Schnitzel and the Braised Short Ribs. The short ribs were beyond amazing. A must try. The bacon jam on the top of the Schnitzel was a nice change from the traditional toppings. Dessert was a shared serving of Bananas Foster bread pudding topped with vanilla
