Destin Library

I just LOVE libraries. It’s too cute outside and of course nice and quiet. Out front they even have some books I guess you borrow. Anyway…. Go read peeps!! 🔥💜

Beautiful library and very helpful staff. I needed to print one sheet of paper and it only cost .15 cents. You can even print from your own laptop. Very well organized and welcoming. Bike parking and book dropbox.

Small library nestled in a small park. Only about 50 parking spaces. The librarians are friendly and helpful. You can request books from any of the okaloosa libraries and they get them in two or three days. There is a children's section and a teen section that are specifically designated as such. Recently they have added RB Digital service, which let's you read many magazines on your phone or tablet. Pleny of public access computers, wi-fi, and inexpensive color printing round out this 21st century library's offerings.

The library was wonderful helping us out. They were super kind to us out of town folks, going above and beyond to help us out.

Beautiful library grounds and interior. Closes early (5p) most days. I was here on a Monday afternoon, and unfortunately there was a group of small children being very loud and noisy, which nullified the library atmosphere. There should be a separate children's area so they don't ruin the library quiet for everyone else.
