Airman's Beach Access

I loved it! if you want quiet, peaceful, off the beaten path, and just sand between your toes then the access beaches are for you. there are NO frills, zero accommodations or amenities and you will have to walk down a dark sandy path but it's so worth it to see the sand dunes. We saw a family of mice crossing and the waves were very high during this season so just practice safety. One thing I noticed is there were no seashells.

Tough walk for handicap. Beach restoration unbelievable!

I have been going to this beach for many years even when it had the enlisted club there. Clean, accessible and quiet. 96 FSS at Eglin does and AMAZING job keeping up with this place. Kudo’s to Mindy (Flight Chief) and staff who are front line professionals. Open to the military, families and retirees.

This is an entrance to the beach, has very limited entrance and is managed by Eglin AFB. You must get a permit through Eglin for entrance and parking. The beach area is clean, clear and not crowded at all.
