I don't know the name of this armadillo looking thing my husband got for me from here but it's flakey and filled with cream and it is freaking delicious. He went out to get us lunch and he asked if I wanted anything else and I said get me a treat please and he brought me back this little number. Sorry the pictures aren't any better, looked nicer before I started eating it but had to share proof before it was gone. Get yourself one of these things right here it's fricken delicious ladies.

This is terrific little spot, well worth the walk if you're coming from downtown (or the drive; they have decent enough parking). The groceries are pricey, but interesting, and they carry a lot of hard-to-find items. The real value is in the deli. Excellent breakfast sandwiches on fresh-baked focaccia in the morning and other sandwiches/lunch meals in the afternoon. Try the Italian chicken salad sandwich – it's outstanding! There are a few small, 2-top tables and a little bar by the window to eat there as well.

Authentic Italian market, adorable shop, unique experience, quality sandwiches, right outside busy downtown Portsmouth, but I came here because downtown was a crowded mess full of tourists, this place is in a perfect location, has a parking lot. I’m so happy I came here.

Great Italian market with small seating area inside. Fresh food and good service. Easy on and off the highway if passing through and has a parking lot. Everything is baked fresh. We had delicious calzones and soup.

Nice little place that we stopped at when we were starving. Close to closing time but we got a premade Italian sandwich, premade Greek salad, focaccia, chips and a drink. Nice staff, good quality food even for premade and overall good experience. The sandwich was still delicious the bread was fresh and stout, the fillings were top- notch. Salsa and bread were great also. Cute squirrels playing outside. Nice place. 5 stars.
