Tried their biryani on a friend’s recommendation, but unfortunately this time the recommendation didn’t work out. I was told it would be proper Karachi-style biryani, but it didn’t match that expectation. They only had chicken biryani available on Friday. Beef might be better, but the beef nalli biryani is available only on Thursdays and that too if you pre-order for the same day, which is quite limiting. On a positive note, the chicken roll was good and flavorful. Overall, it was an average experience—might try the beef biryani another time if the timing works.
They have a wide variety of Pakistani cuisines. We tried chicken biryani, Garlic mayo roll, chaat papdi, nuggets & fries for kids and chai. Chicken biryani was good, a little on the spicier side, chaat paapdi was a hit too but I think it should be a little warmed up, It was very cold, chicken mayo roll was in puri. It tasted absolutely delicious a little onions in there would have perfectly hit the spot. Chai is machine made but very acceptable. All in all the food is good there is alot of room to improve to retain customers though.
This place is definitely more for catering. They can’t customize dishes or make vegetarian. I asked for spicy and it wasn’t spicy. The food was still flavorful and good. It’s halal. They were quick to bring the food to the table. They use disposable utensils instead of metal which isn’t ideal for dining in. They only have water bottles or cans to drink.
Perfect food. Delicious. Quality and quantity both impressive. Service was good. The tall guy was amazing. The lady was very nice too. Overall great experience. Treated us like family.
A Masterclass in Pakistani Flavors at Desi Behthak If food is an art form, then Tahir Baba is a magician. From the moment you walk in, you aren't just a customer; you are a guest in his home. His hospitality is legendary—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—which sets the perfect stage for the feast to come. The Standout Dishes The menu is a highlight reel of traditional Pakistani soul food. Here’s what you cannot miss: • Malai Kabab: Absolute perfection. They are incredibly creamy, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and seasoned with such a delicate touch that you’ll be tempted to order a second round immediately. • The Biryani: Every grain of rice is fragrant and perfectly separated. It carries that authentic, bold punch of spice and aroma that defines a true Pakistani biryani. • Korma & Kar
