Deli 101

Incredible staff and wonderful, fresh ingredients. Have tried tuna salad (AMAZING), egg salad, chicken salad, club, and turkey with roast beef… everything has been so good. Some of the soups are homemade and really great too! The staff are some of the best you will ever have at a restaurant!

First time visiting the area and Deli 101 was highly recommended. Food was excellent. Service was good, but seating was interesting. The restaurant is located in a very nice antique mall and the tables that are designated for the diners look like they are for sale. We weren't quite sure if we should sit at a few of them. Glad we ate here and would definitely go back if we're in Gadsden.

Deli located inside a Broad Street Store. Lots of tables and booths, even a small bar with stools for seating. It was very busy at lunch time, order at the counter and they call your name and you pick up your food. Staff was friendly and polite. One of my favorite foods I always try if it’s on the menu is a French Dip Sandwich. I ordered a half which is a half of a 6” sub roll. It did have lots of roast beef that was seasoned well, the bun was buttery and soft and seemed to be heated but the meat was cold in the middle. The Au jus was hot. The sandwich came with chips and a drink. The chocolate pie with real meringue on top was exceptional. At 9 cents short of $17 dollars, I wasn’t impressed with this meal.

i would like to start by saying this is some of the best food i've had, EVER!!! i am however very upset with the service i just received. i understand needing to prepay for an order or the restaurant preferring to take online orders instead but if a customer only has cash there is no need to be so rude and snappy with someone over the phone merely for not having anything available in their account. the attitude of your employees doesn't match the absolute quality of your incredible food. please do better and be nicer to folks in the future!

Delicious sandwiches and the fresh squeezed lemonade is amazing. Worth the stop.
