Del Pez Riverfront

One of the best lunches I’ve had in awhile! I’m a foodie and this did not disappoint! The chips with some type of cornbread salsa was delicious. Definitely get the street corn and don’t skip the desert! I ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon and yummm! Our server was also very sweet and attentive!

I went here to celebrate my best friend’s birthday dinner. I order a dish with chicken and shrimp that was served with rice and corn cake. The dish was average but my rice was ice cold. I was disappointed that this establishment didn’t serve complimentary chips and salsa especially with the average cost per entree. My friend had a margarita and she said it was average. I loved our server I can’t remember her name but she was very attentive.

The atmosphere here was great. Upon arrival we were seated immediately. The server was super kind, attentive and helpful. She gave thoughtful recommendations of what to do in the city and was very friendly. The food was only mid sadly. The tacos were okay but just lacking some oomph. The tortilla soup had a kind of funny taste to me and there were still bay leaves inside. I know this because I halfway ate one. The rice was awesome! However, the drinks were slightly better. The drinks were pretty good- not bad but not the most outstanding. We got the skinny marg and ranch water. This next thing was a small thing but when we left the hostess at the front didn’t acknowledge or say thank you. Again small thing but I do feel like that is a main part of her job and there was no other guests arou

Its a place trying to do too much. Maybe what we got wasn't their best. I saw the guacs others ordered and that looked really good. Outdoor seating was closed when we got there even though a party was out there already and still there when we left. So that was a bit disappointing. Service was good until we got our food. Then it took almost 20 minutes to get my bill and go.

Had a great experience at Del Pez! The food was fresh and flavorful, and the margaritas were on point. Maria our server took care of us and she was amazing, super friendly, made us laugh, and really knew the menu inside and out. She gave great recommendations and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back again and hope she’s our waitress again ♥️
