Deer Creek Bar & Grill

We were looking for lunch but the town was on siesta. Deer Creek was open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also scored a reservation for Thanksgiving. Best turkey I ever had. Outside seating is available overlooking the Deer Creek. New owners about a year ago. If you haven’t been in a while, it's time to check it out. They say the breakfast is great.

Visited September 17th..see both receipts. This is a great place in Nevada City California ( where I used to live awhile ago). It's a great location with indoor and outside dining. The creek outside has always been a plus! It has changed hands several times over the years but I hope this one sticks because they offer breakfast..lunch...dinner..brunch... And happy hour. We happened to get there after my appointment and hit happy hour ( starts at 2pm until 5pm). I shared the cheeseburger with fries for 11 bucks! Hamburger was a nice size and the fries were perfect and crunchy! We had the most awesome and kind server..ANDREAS! He was so attentive and also made us awesome happy hour drinks! This location has seen restaurants come and go. But, really it’s such a cool spot - especially in the Summer when you can sit out on the deck by the creek! I’m SO glad another, casual concept moved in! I’ve been doing a burger review series (on my socials and YouTube) and this new restaurants was recommended to add to my list. I’m glad it was! Service was fast and efficient. The food was fresh and good. We’ll definitely be returning to try other things!

Great place to meet friends, for a romantic date or a family meal. Menu has something for everyone and there is a full bar. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Parking lot has limited spaces but there is street parking as well as other lots nearby. View of the creek & natures beauty create a calm ambiance. Now for the important stuff... Food is excellent!!! Highly recommend the French Dip! Fries are crispy and cooked to perfection. Salads are fresh and dressings are tasty. You HAVE to try the biscuits. Wow!! Service is exceptional. Rob is a great asset to Deer Creek. Came here after hiking deer trail for my sisters birthday. Rob our server totally matched our energy and did an excellent job! Helped us navigate their giant menu and was super patient with us being so indecisive. We ended up splitting the pesto chicken sandwich and fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious but we both agreed the fried chicken sandwich was the winner. Onion rings were perfectly crispy, sister loved her garlic fries. Rob overheard me mention her birthday, went above and beyond and brought her a slice of chocolate cake. 10/10 recommend and will be back for sure!
