De Irie Jamaican Spot Restaurant

Food came out very fresh and hot, along with lots of flavor. Portions were a good size too. Service was smooth when ordering and environment is nice aesthetically plus it’s very clean and spacious in the restaurant. I plan to come back!

As a Jamaican and a Florida native this food is below par. For the price of the food anyone would expect much better. Drove over 25 minutes to this restaurant and spent $20 on the worst stew peas I’ve ever tasted. The meat to the left of the plate was all that was in the dish. How sad. I recommend actually tasting the food before leaving because that was my mistake. Definitely won’t be back.

Stacy was such a wonderful presence! I got the curry chicken with rice and peas with spinach!!!! 100/10 I recommend! I am so happy I found this place close to home!!! Don’t walk run!!!

I bought a jerk chicken and rice and peas. I asked the cashier to let the kitchen know to put the jerk sauce on the side in one of the little cups. However when the food came it was covered in jerk sauce, I asked the cashier to take it back and let the kitchen know they did it wrong. She then let me know that they won't be changing it so take it or leave it. Didn't get to eat the food i ordered and had to give it away. All I know is I sure won't be going back to this restaurant.

I went to De Irie Jamaican Spot Restaurant today and had their oxtail. It was fall-off-the-bone tender and the gravy was rich and flavorful. The rice and peas were the perfect side, and the plantains were sweet. The service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was nice. The price was decent. I'll definitely be back to try them again.
