Don't let the unassuming facade dissuade you, this place has amazing food! The seafood Pad Thai came wrapped in egg like an omelet. It was delicious! My husband had a spicier dish which he really enjoyed. We both enjoyed the Shrimp Satay appetizer which was incredibly flavorful. The presentation of all the food was thoughtfully crafted. I highly recommend this restaurant! Try it, you won't regret it!
I was slightly skeptical about the “authenticity” of this place given that we were road tripping from Boston to Vermont and didn’t have too many options available. We didn’t see any Thai folks, only 2 white staff (host and waitress), but admittedly the food was nonetheless quite good. We really enjoyed the fish cakes, and I liked the khao soi as well. We also got a kick out of the sticky rice served in the steamer. The restaurant has a pretty water feature and decor, as well as a wall of tavern games - puzzles from the Dark Ages in Britain (no clear connection to Thailand) that customers can try their hand at undoing/putting back together.
Service is friendly, but they don't offer napkins. The fried rice is delicious, but the tom yum soup is too salty—like drinking salty water. I bet the chef forgot the salt and added more. I'll go back to try other stuff next time. Update: i ordered 2 fired chicken rice today for pickup, and they charged 2 x packing charger. What a joke. when owners want more money, they charge people extra for non sense. Fried rice was plain, and it contained small pieces of eggshells, and chicken was so little meager. They tasted a bit sweet.
Decent experience. I’m not a big fan of Thai, but it was my boyfriend’s birthday and this is what he wanted. The place was clean, the atmosphere nice but plain conducive for a dine in experience. The service was nice. Loved the cowboy who hosted and waited on us (definitely not traditional but super friendly and polite). The food was good and reasonably priced. We both had the Pad Thai, I had mine with fried tofu and David had his with chicken and extra peanut sauce. Worth a visit!
Don't let the humble exterior fool you -- this place serves fresh, delicious Thai food. Nice selection of beers and wine available, as well. Friendly service. Large menu. The kids love the Bumble Bee plate (chicken satay). I've tried several curry and rice dishes and have never been disappointed. We usually get a seat right away.
