Dave’s Hot Chicken never disappoints! The food is consistently great, and Jamaica, who was working the register, was absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful, and welcoming.The music in the store was a bit loud for my personal taste, but I’m sure they would’ve turned it down if I had asked. It didn’t take away from the experience. One of the things I really appreciate is that they consistently honor veterans and emergency workers with a discount … that certainly speaks volumes about their values and service. I’ll gladly keep driving out of my way to grab lunch here before appointments. Keep it up, Dave’s!

I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken - Devine Street late Friday night around 11-something and I just have to say, the experience was extremely pleasant from start to finish. The cashier was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me warmly and provided exceptional customer service. She was patient, kind, and very attentive… talked with me while I waited, gave solid recommendations, and even went over my order to make sure I wasn’t missing anything or needed to add extras. That level of care is rare, especially late at night. I ordered my food to go, and even by the time I got home, everything was still hot and fresh… which says a lot, especially for French fries. This is the first time having Dave’s Hot Chicken after it being on Devine for awhile now. The mild and medium, to me, was very very mild. Little to no spice whatsoever. I’ll get the hot next time to see if it’s hotter. I just wanted to test out the heat for the first time. Overall it was very good, cooked through and the pickles are great. I just wish the meals had drinks included.

I was very curious about a restaurant that only sells hot chicken, it was amazing! I got the Hot slider and 1 piece, I definitely recommend, I thought it was weird only ordering 2 chicken tenders but I should have just ordered the sandwich because they are basically big chicken breasts, the hot was very spicy for me and I love spicy food I’d recommend getting lower spice if you are sensitive to it but the flavor and juiciness is unlike anything I’ve ever tried sweet at first then spicy the slider (sandwich) is a great option the slaw and pickles really pair well with the spicy chicken

So, I was a big naysayer. “What’s the big deal about spicy chicken?! Just a chicken sandwich!” I said many things. Boy was I wrong. Fantastic Cajun variety of spice, not overly spiced, just right. I got medium spicy and I loved it. Going for the one extra spice level next time. The cauliflower bites are insanely great. Dave’s Sauce is pleasant, but honey is the SAUCE! with the chicken it’s perfect. I had a slider. Which some would say is pricey. I thought so until I had one, now it’s well worth the price. Almost as large as a regular chicken sandwich. Going again, customer for life! It was super busy also.
