Darlings Smokehouse

This place was so awesome! To start off the location by the lake is beautiful and relaxing. Then the service was so personal and home like. But the food was what I expected bbq to be, just delicious 😋 This place was recommend by a few people in town and after our experience I have to pass it on and say make sure you try this place before anything else if your in the area! Highly recommend it!

My boyfriend and I came to Florence for a little weekend get away, we came to Darlings for dinner Saturday evening and we are so happy we did! We felt a little out of place at first because it is truly an EVERYONE KNOWS EVERYONE lol guests were coming in and saying hi to other guests, and Tristen made sure that we felt included and welcome and treated us like regulars that had been going for years!! The atmosphere was contagious in the best way, it was comfortable and the food OMG Delicious! When we come back to Florence in the future we will most certainly be coming back!

Some of the best brisket I have had. My husband and I went there for Valentines day. Everything was great!!

Before yesterday I would have given 4 stars across the board as I have eaten here multiple times before. Yesterday it was terrible. The brisket was tender but it taste like someone salted it after they cut it up for my sandwich, even the bun had salt on it. They used to have great fries but they changed them and now they are just ordinary.

I rarely feel the need to review places but this place is awesome. From someone who works in the restaurant industry and someone who loves bbq, this is some of the best food and service ive ever experienced. I personally am not a fan of the tri tip because I tend not to like leaner cuts of meat but theres nothing I dont recommend on their menu. Very quality food and fantastic service. I tell all my friends about this spot. The brisket is epic, I recommend the big bad brian sandwich, and the brisket dinner plate !
