I have Medicaid & I still had to pay a $25 fee to have blood drawn! Walgreens is free & also uses Labcorp! Also took them 2 days to notify me that it was due! Super slack staff!!

In mid-January 2021 I went online to the Health Dept's website to investigate how the vaccination process would work. I was able to register my wife & I on the spot. 3 weeks later I received a call saying our first appointment was set for two weeks later. We showed up for our appointment a little early and were shown into the gym on the spot. We were registered, given the shot and out the door in less than 20 min, including the mandatory waiting period. We both were extremely impressed by how efficient and professional every single person was during the whole process. Our small little county apparently has the best process in the State of N Carolina according to the Governor's Office.

Originally from New York. Lived on the outer banks for 7 years. My miscarriage in NC- they did not put me on Medicade immediately as they should have- or gave me the rogain shot as they should have done once my pregnancy started. My miscarriage was about 3000. In New York- I received the rogain shot immediately- also was Put on health insurance immediately. A few months after my miscarriage in NC they called me to check on my pregnancy: please go to Virginia for any medical needs.

My husband received his second Covid vaccine today. Both appointments were painless, both physically and organizationally. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and organized. Very impressed! We have friends in other states that have not even gotten an appointment....

I'm pretty upset that I'm being denied care because I now have insurance which they helped me get... just to then tell me I can't come there anymore when I already had important appointments made.
