Mia's Bake Shop & Tea Room

I was smitten from the moment I walked in. This place is adorable! There are tea cups everywhere and you can choose whatever teapot you would like for your personal tea. There is also a very decent selection of treats. I tried the banana pudding. The music sounded familiar, and I said “this sounds like Bridgerton!” “That’s because it is!” The barista responded! There is quite a bit of seating and there’s even outdoor seating as well. A wide selection of looseleaf or bagged tea. A pot was only $3!

Mia’s Bake Shop & Tea Room is the perfect little spot in Manteo! It’s calm, family-friendly, and the ideal place for a relaxed afternoon with friends. ​Neecy, the owner, was incredible and put everything together for our DLI party—we had the best time! Highly recommend if you're looking for a charming and welcoming atmosphere.

My husband and I visited Manteo for the first time back in September. Two months later, I'm still thinking about how great our trip was, and Mia's was the cherry on top. We happened upon this precious tea and bake shop while walking through town. The owner, Necy, greeted us warmly and shared Mia's precious story with us. We had the best ever homemade banana pudding, and a wonderful pot of loose leaf earl grey tea. The shop was clean and beautiful. Thank you, Necy, for a lovely experience! God bless ❤️

I enjoyed my tea a lot. This shop is incredibly cute and well decorated with the nicest china. We loved having our own tea cups and saucers. Service was pretty good especially for only the owner working. She is a very nice lady. My pumpkin coffee cake was too sweet for my taste but otherwise this is a great little spot

I went to this lovely tea shop to celebrate my birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The tea was absolutely wonderful—fresh, aromatic, and full of flavor—and the small bites were just as delicious. Everything felt so thoughtfully prepared. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. You can really feel the love and care that go into this place. It was such a peaceful, happy way to spend my birthday—I can’t wait to go back!
