Working with Daniel Colonel on our wedding cake was an absolute pleasure. He came highly recommended by the event manager at our venue, since he worked there before he started his own business and was very familiar with the space. On our initial phone call, Daniel really made an effort to get to know us as a couple and to listen to our vision for the day. A few weeks before the wedding he arranged a cake tasting, where we were able to sample 4 different cakes, including one he created just for us based on one of our favorite desserts. Ultimately, we chose a vanilla sponge with citrus buttercream icing and layers of raspberry and pistachio filling. Daniel made the most delicious cake for my wedding last November! It was hard to pick a flavor from his list, so we went with two. Daniel has made a couple of cakes for my family over the years, and I always hear from people that it’s the best cake they’ve ever had. Not only are the cakes delicious, but he’s a treasure to work with. He is easy going but you can tell he cares about doing everything to make you happy.
