Dairy Queen (Treat)

Wait time was a bit long being that we were the only customers, but the ice cream was good as always :)

I haven't been there for a few years, and I decided to go to try something in order to get a picture for a food app I participate in. I tried the Girl Scouts Thin Mint Blizzard. It was different and delicious. I didn't think they could make this from Girl Scout cookies. I also got my picture for my app and Google Maps.

We only ordered ice cream and you can't mess that up, but the gentleman took our order then the 4 people who ordered after us got their stuff first. We were the only African American family there .....we will be finding another location to spend our money next time.

This is the best place in town for ice cream. Unfortunately, when we were in the drive-through, an employee slipped on the floor and since it is such a small work space, it slowed things down even more. When we did get to order, the sundae was so full it was overflowing and had to be thrown away because of the mess it made going from the drive-through to the park. This was the only time we've ever had to ask for napkins since none were given when the items were handed to us. Overall, this is a great place. I think we just were there at a bad time.

The ice cream is good. The people that come here are not. Junkies, hookers and dealers frequent this place. I've had someone attempt to pick my pocket here as well as crazy homeless folks beg me for money. Its usually a 20 minute wait during peak times.
