La Mexicana Grill

I like this place and I don’t mean to be insulting by saying this, but it’s sort of a dive, like diners, drive-ins and dives TV show this place had excellent food the best pork quesadilla i’ve probably ever had and all the extras sides were delicious, including the rice and the refried beans cut avocado which is not something I ever finished when I get it elsewhere. I highly recommend the place.

If you want the real deal atmosphere and flavor of authentic Mexican food in the heart of Richmond, stop here. The food is amazing, easily competing with more well-known places. What sets it apart is the value; it’s the total package of quality and value—you’d be hard pressed to find a better one for a better price!

This is my favorite restaurant in the world. I love the food, the staff is friendly and helpful, and it is my hometown authentic Mexican restaurant. The chicken burrito is incredible, but everything on the menu is good. I also really love the platters, with great options for vegetarians in addition to tasty meats. The building is not fancy in the least, but it's the food and the people that matter here.

Wow, what a find! Great food, cheap, and fast service. I got a Chorizo Burrito, which was loaded with very good Chorizo, rice, cheese, tomatoes, and avocados. I loved how the cheese coated the whole inside of the tortilla, and the amount of Chorizo inside was perfect! I would suggest adding onions and sour cream to get some acidity and brightness. Salsas were fresh tasting and flavorful, if not that spicy. Overall fantastic.
