Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I don't know the name of the lady working the drive thru (12/16/25 1:15 pm) but she needs to learn to be more personable or find a different job. She yells through the intercom, doesn't have a friendly tone at all even at the window. I've had this experience at least 6 times this year. Today when I heard her very distinctive voice on the intercom, I just drove off and went to McD's for a very sub par ice cream but at least I wasn't being screamed at through the intercom.

Each time that Ive come thru drive thru, the blizzards are always dripping on the sides with the workers not wiping it. Sometimes they give me napkins, or the others none. Tonight I didn't get any from them, as usual, it was dripping off and got in my car. When she took my card, she walked away so I didn't see where she went. I dont trust that as who knows if they wrote down my card or took a pic of it. I didn't get my receipt either as she handed out my blizzards to me. She never said Thank-you. She just continued to take orders on her headset never looking at me. She seems like she might have been management as her shirt was different than the other's uniform; hers was black. This was a really great Dairy Queen! Usually they're a little older style but this one was renovated and larger so there was a lot more room for everyone. Business was pretty steady and busy while we were there but even so everyone was really nice and service was fast. They had a pretty large selection of cakes in the cooler and the seating area was open, clean, and comfortable. If you need your blizzard fix this is the DQ to go to!

Typical DQ. However VERY CLEAN inside. I don't dine in at a lot of fast food places anymore. Like maybe once a year and I did here and didn't hate it. It wasn't packed, speedy, polite service, they brought food to table and not all that expensive for this current economy. Overall not bad.

Ordered a 4 piece chicken strip meal and I got raw chicken. Tried to call the store and the phone line disconnected while calling. And now I can't even contact the store directly. So, I had to make an official complaint to the corporate site. Edit (4/1/2023): Got in contact with the store manager and they offered me a refund and a gift card for the inconvenience. While I am dissatisfied with the initial service, I'm glad they responded quickly.
