Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Came back to try again. I thought it was slow before but holy Hannah it was atrociously slow. They claimed to be short staffed, but there was 5 people up front not including whomever was in the kitchen. We went through the drive though, there was 6 cars ahead of us and it took easily 20+ to place our order and 10+ minutes once we got to the window and all we ordered was 4 blizzards. I would avoid this location. All of the blizzards were messy to boot.

The new employees are amazing, asked us if we needed more, provided us with great speed and customer service. The old employees were terrible, that’s why this DQ has 2.7 stars. But keep these guys around and you’ll probably love the service they provide!

I used the app to order two Sundays and two blizzards. Many teenagers working. They started making my order when I checked in. I got the two Sundays which were fine. They started making the blizzards. I went to give my kids the Sundays and went back for the blizzards, both had been set down unfinished and the employees argued over who had to finish them when they saw me standing back at the counter. By the time they mixed them, one had an ingredient completely forgotten, and the other was a dripping mess. Worst part, I physically watched the whole thing happen. The tables and floor were filthy. I cleaned my own table from my purse cleaning supplies. It was a memorable experience in a bad way.

I didn't want to do this, but I don't know any other way to communicate our problem- we went through the drive thru tonight and ordered a kids meal and an adult meal, both with ice cream. We got the ice creams and both beverages, but when we got home we were missing most of the kids meal. I tried to call the store, but all the phone did was ring and no one picked up. I'm very unhappy about this as we can't resolve our problem if we don't have any employees to interact with.

We went with our three kids to get ice cream. Waited for 15 minutes for anyone to speak to us inside. We ended up just leaving before anyone even took our order. My kids left in tears. I forgot that the service is terribly slow here. Remember for next time so we can go somewhere else.
