Prior Lake Library

I love our Prior Lake library. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I enjoy the book club. I love all the resources that are available. I also enjoy having extended access and just sitting by the fireplace on a cold winter days.

I really enjoy spending time at the library, especially if I have emails to work on or teaching prep to do. The study rooms are my favorite! The small ones are first-come-first-serve, and most of the times I show up, at least one of them is open.

I love this place! While it is a bit on the small side, everything is so organized and cozy! There are private study rooms–3, I think—and conference rooms, and plenty of tables to sit at and comfy chairs to relax on. It's such a cozy spot on Prior Lake, and honestly, I love the simplicity of this place. Staff is always friendly, place is clean, and the atmosphere is really warm. It's a good library for relaxing or dying during finals week!

Terrible. It says online, on the automated phone message when you call, and on the DOOR, that it is open til 8pm on Wednesdays. I arrived at 6:40 today (Wednesday) and it looked like a staff member was just leaving. Come on! Some people depend on the library for the computers, printers, and the books! Not everyone has access to all that at home. Even if the hours changed then it should be posted somewhere . I have lived across the street for over 5 years, last time I checked. . . It is still supposed to be open.

I love this library. I do wish their hours were more consistent--they seem totally random. They have some nice study rooms, a conference room and plenty of tables for well natural lit reading.
