Why do these employees hate life and their customers so much? This is a beautiful Dairy Queen to work at, even if it is attached to a gas station. I worked at a Dairy Queen in the middle of nowhere PA during high school and I know what I am asking for is not hard to do at all. Since they choose not to stock chocolate soft serve, I asked for chocolate sauce added to the blizzard. I got more specific this time because 2 days ago, they barely put any chocolate in my same order. This time I made sure to repeat they could charge me extra, please don’t worry about flipping it upside down, I know chocolate makes it a bit more liquid-y. My husband and I visited this store almost every day in the month of October to eat ice cream and every visit was good experience. The staff that is there are some of the best we’ve encountered there and we’ve been coming for 20+ years. We want to mention one in particular who went above and beyond to make sure we, as well as everyone else, were taken care of- Jami Bailey does an exceptional job.

I used to work for a Dairy Queen and if we were caught doing any of this stuff or had any issues we were fired on the spot. Our staff was ALWAYS clean and sanitary. Food was always fresh. So here it goes ..... Our fries tasted like shrimp 🤢 and you can tell that they are not fresh (very stale and cold and hard). Plus the counter our drinks were served on was covered in crumbs and food of some sort so it was all over the bottom of our drinks. All of the blizzards were NOT served upside down (because they were melted, as seen in photos). Also, my country gravy for my chicken strips had a brown color to it and it almost tasted a tad burnt? Guy that took my order, touched his computer and my card, went straight back to prep our order... WITHOUT GLOVES OR WASHING HANDS!!! 🤮He also had chocolate

Don’t order delivery. The posted online delivery times are a lie. I ordered my meal to be delivered 2 hours and 15 minutes ago and the restaurant is literally 3 minutes from my hotel. The food has still not arrived. I had to call a toll-free number where I waited on hold for over 5 minutes to be connected to someone in a third world country who spoke broken English in order to cancel my order. Every time I’ve ordered from this location it at least takes 1.5 hours to be delivered but tonight will be the last time I ever patronize Dairy Queen on Jekyll Island. 👎🏻

If there was an option to leave zero stars to make a comment this would be it. Absolutely Terrible!!! On a night of an event (Christmas Tree Lighting) this restaurant is undermanned! One person taking orders and working the register. The other is preparing the food and walking orders out to customers. When the cashier gets a chance she goes and assist the only other person who is preparing the meals. No disrespect to the two workers, they did what they could with what they had. This negative review falls directly on MANAGEMENT!! Management has failed the employees and especially their customers! Absolutely ridiculous! The restaurant is dirty! Tables aren't cleared, utensils and napkins are missing. There is no one clearing/cleaning tables, assisting with orders, etc. Management has got to
