Sunrise Grille

Went as a group of 3. The food was good, wont say great. The server was nice, our issue being that we ordered a shrimp appetizer and Stephanie gave us the 1/2 lb order. We didnt know this until we got the bill, when we asked her about it she just nodded and walked off. Didn't expect to pay 18 for an appetizer so that was disappointing, like the lack of seasoning on the wings. Also the hush puppies seemed like they were made for a nursing home who loved onions. The cheese grits are grits sprinkled with shredded cheese. Its visually appealing I guess though. The long island wasnt really hitting like a long island. Pretty sub par, but the fries were good. Spent 100 dollars on the entire meal.

We stopped by for late dinner and the hostess was welcoming and made sure we got a good spot with all the kids. Food was great but small portions. We enjoyed the variety but the kids did not find it to their taste and just ate fruits instead. Our shrimp platter, calamari and grilled fish was delicious.

Small but cozy cafe, with a handful of tables and a dining counter. Greeted immediately upon entering, and opted to dine at the counter, always my go-to spot. Ordered their burger, added bacon and cheese, and asked for it medium rare, and with fries. I really was not prepared for what I received...everything was exactly as I ordered, and delicious!!! The burger was a perfect medium rare, the cheese was melted, the bacon was well-cooked but not stringy or crispy, the lettuce was crisp and fresh, and the tomato slices were firm and fresh. As if that weren't enough, the fries were hot and delicious, cooked almost to the point of becoming crispy on the outside...while that would have been my preference, it takes nothing away from them, as they fit within that range of perfection! Great experience, as they welcomed our pup Lavern with a bowl of water. We ate in the patio, both having the wild caught GA shrimp. I had the side of cheese grits and it was all great! Plus a sweet tea, of course.

The food was so good! Get the pancakes! Even more than, the staff were so kind and attentive and wonderful. We could not have asked for a better experience. Overall, this is a cute, wonderful, local restaurant that I would absolutely visit again.
