Dairy Queen - 977 E Austin St., Giddings, TX 78942

Went through the drive though on a long drive to south texas and when I open my box about 5 minutes later there was a hair on the gravy, which was only half full🤢

Can hardly go wrong with the steak finger basket. We always get the chocolate dipped cones for desert, but the new Cherry Dipped cone ad caught our eyes on the way into the place. Those were very tasty.

Not sure why but the group I was with and myself had had nothing to eat all day and were out in Hempstead for a football game. I really have never gone to Dairy Queen for food only ice cream but the women I was with had certain items they enjoyed so since it was open (and many were not at this time of the evening)-we decided to drop in and grab a bite to eat. Everything was very clean. The young lady at the cash register had only been working there a very few days, but she was doing her best to do a good job which we appreciated. It was also nice to see other employees stepping in to help if she needed it. We were very scattered with our order so that made it difficult for her. Once we finished ordering, I was thinking we would sit down and they would call us for our food but within five m

We were traveling and wanted ice cream. The cashier, (manager) seemed like she would really rather be somewhere else , that's being polite. The girl in the kitchen that we had to retrieve our own order was very nice and the only one with a smile..not the manager though

Vicky and the entire staff at this DQ are great with customers, especially younger customers. Very nice place to eat & relax before getting back on the road.
