Daily grind coffee bar

My husband stopped in for a cup of coffee after we finished lunch nearby. The young lady who took his order was welcoming. We snapped a few photos while we were there. I really like the style and overall vibe of this coffee shop, and the outdoor seating is a nice touch. Next time, I’ll definitely try one of the baked goods! Happy Exploring! Josephine Local 📍

I’m just going to be very honest. I came of course because of the buzz around this place concerning their fruit pastries. I came early around 9:00 am (45 min drive) to have some. Got the coconut that was cracked (they had a $10 off discount) & mango fruit pastry….it was horrible. The coconut filling inside was A MESS. The coconut ganache was watery and mushy. The mango was horrible watery mango ganache puree was a mess. I really was hoping to like this place but it was just not worth the hype or MONEY and I also ordered a chai latte w/ oatmilk & cinnamon flavor…. They forgot the cinnamon flavoring and the latte tasted like straight WATER. The upside is the staff were polite. But I’m very disappointed. I can say that this is an absolutely adorable coffee shop! First time in and all their coffee looked delish. They do coffee flights and some other creative drinks. We got 2 coffees and some desserts to go. We will definitely be back.

Atmosphere is wonderful! People are very friendly. Cozy, nicely decorated space to take a break in downtown Waxhaw. Different feel from the Lancaster location. I didn’t like my fruit pastry at all but this place is worth a visit.

Went for the viral fruit deserts on a Saturday late morning. First walked in and the inside is small and cramped when other people are waiting for their orders went up to order and asked if they had the viral fruit deserts, I saw them posted on their Instagram page the morning of. The cashier was unaware and awkwardly looked at the 2 other people beside them and they all looked confused and lost. I asked again about the viral fruit deserts and someone in the back came out and said they had them. I asked which ones they had and instead of showing me they awkwardly looked underneath in their storage and told us what they had without showing us.
