DAHON VEGAN

Dahon has the most delicious vegan sushi! I’ve tried almost all of them and they are all amazing. The flavors are so unique and fresh. You can tell they put so much love into the food. My favorites are the Dahon signature roll, crispy rice carrot lox and avocado truffle. My mom who isn’t a vegan absolutely loves Dahon as well. The service is outstanding. I always feel welcomed which keeps me as a returning customer in addition to the delicious food.

The best vegan sushi I've ever had, period. I am in love with the avocado truffle oshizushi, but you cannot go wrong with anything here. I am from out of town and loved it so much I went out of my way when I came back to NYC a month later to make sure I got it again. The chef was really nice and talked to my friend and I while we were at the bar waiting for our food. Amazing casual sushi or lunch spot and I'll be back every time I'm in NYC for sure.

So delicious! I am glad we have some affordable and high quality vegan sushi options available in the city. The avocado sushi is superb with slightly smoky sweet cheesy sauce. California roll and crispy broccoli sushi was also great options. Basically I never had anything bad from here!! It’s becoming my weekend retail to visit dahon. Thank you for existing.

Planta prices without the atmosphere but the taste is better! Really flavorful sushi, today was my second visit and I still loved it! The jalapeno carrot lox is my favorite. Love the signature roll too for the crispy broccoli but could do with a little more seasoning on the spinach, the sesame isn't coming through. The California roll is yummy, love the Asian slaw flavor - I will say, this second time it tasted different than the first time, it was better last time. Miso truffle is yummy , crispy rice one could be crispier - maybe a thinner helping of rice to accomplish this but taste was still yummy. Slaw salad SO yummy!! Will definitely return

I am not surprised by Dahon’s nearly perfect reviews. I’ve been to a vegan restaurant in the past and my experience wasn’t that great so I was a little hesitant to try Dahon. However, I’m glad I did! Dahon is situated cozily inside the Canal Street Market and could be easily overlooked but trust me, you don’t want to skip this place! I am in love with their Miso Truffle Eggplant sushi! It is addictively tasty! You must at least try this!
