I am finally getting around to writing this review after a stellar experience at Dagon back in December, and the memory of that meal is still just as vivid. From start to finish, it was a flawless 5-star experience. The atmosphere was immediately festive and welcoming with their beautiful Christmas decor, setting the perfect mood for a holiday meal. The service was truly top-tier; our waitress, Mejda, and the entire staff were incredibly kind and attentive. What really stood out to me were the "little things" that demonstrate true culinary professionalism. I was so impressed when one of the servers, while helping us plate our shared dishes, was careful not to use the same utensils for the seafood and non-seafood items. That level of mindfulness and attention to detail is rare and highly ap
I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Spencer, our server, was truly exceptional, warm, gracious, incredibly knowledgeable, and his wine pairing suggestion was nothing short of perfect. Thank you Dagon and Spencer for an unforgettable meal. Best!
I randomly found Dagon while walking down Broadway and decided to give it a try. I ordered the three mezze plate, and the bread it came with was incredibly fresh—a must for dipping. I chose the marinated beets, the matbucha, and feta. All of them were excellent, but the beets really stood out; the horseradish yogurt was a fantastic touch and paired with the roasted chickpeas it elevated the whole dish. Finished with the panna cotta which if you're a fan of rose water, you will love it. Overall, a great find and a fantastic meal!
Excellent dinner here! The food was unmatched in flavor, breads were soft and delicious, soup was hearty and the best veggie risotto I have ever had. The highlight was the dessert - Silan.
Honestly the best service I’ve had in my 8 years living in NYC. The bartender Greth was super friendly and took her time explaining the whole menu even though she was busy. I’ll definitely be back
