Culpeper County Library

This library has been a staple of Culpeper County for decades. I remember coming here as a kid to check out books for school projects or to print papers I needed for class. Even now, the selection of books, movies, and games is fantastic to browse through. There’s truly something for everyone, especially at a time when so much media is locked behind paid online subscriptions. What really sets this library apart, though, are the people who work here. Every single visit, the staff has been exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive, especially with our kids! You can tell that the people who work here genuinely want to be here and truly enjoy serving the community. Well-run. Generous hours. Plenty of work space. Great meeting space for groups (like Windmore Foundation). Nice technology. Helpful staff. Of course books, DVDs . . .. I am grateful to Culpeper County for continuing this marvelous service for residents. It is a gem.

I love the atmosphere of the Culpeper County Library. I have a therapy dog and the first Saturday of every month there is a program for children K-5 called "Read to the Dog." Parents sign up reserving a time where their child can come into the library check out books and "Read to the Dog" Parents call the library and inquire what programs are available!!📚🐶

I have been coming here for almost 5 years. It is always welcoming. The staff here are absolutely resourceful and willing to help with whatever questions you have. I have witnessed several times that Jessica or Andrew helped people with various issues with great patience.

I stopped by here earlier today and checked out my very first book. Plenty of resources, friendly staff, and a section dedicated to Culpeper history… Very impressive!
