Creole Cottage

The most relaxing stay ever! The charm of this home is incredible, the bed was so comfortable, linens top notch. Everything was well appointed and the welcoming snacks, drinks and stocked refrigerator was so very thoughtful. Lovely screened back porch lured me down to the small pier on the beautiful Cane River. I truly felt like Creole Cottage was my home away from home. Charlotte, thank you so very much for all you did. It was amazing!

Lovely b&b close to town (walking distance). The place is on the banks of the cane river with a lovely view from outdoor table and chair settings. The owners and managers are lovely and take good care of you. The rooms are really big with a large king bed and two couches and include private bathroom. Every morning we are met with a hearty breakfast of meats, eggs, biscuits and fruit with coffee and fruit juice. Youre spoiled. Nice perks are that they supply bottles of water and you can have your clothing washed and dryed. Fantastic.

We go to Natchitoches often and have stayed at many B and B's but this one was very personal and what a view. Sonny and his parents are so sweet and helpful It is a lovely little home right on the cane river. It is the 2nd oldest home in Natchitoches. While it is not the grand old Victorian homes some are use to , it is a quaint , clean, and comfortable home. Has the feel of grandma's house complete with a screened in back porch overlooking Cane River If you are tired of the fancy breakfast that leaves you saying, What is this? , come here and get real breakfast We plan on staying here again and probable going to rent the whole house and bring the family

We just returned from a lovely weekend in Natchitoches, La. We stayed at Creole Cottage and couldn’t be more pleased! I️t was our perfect home for the weekend! The accommodations were perfect; rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. The location was so convenient! We parked our car all weekend and walked to everything. We loved having coffee in the morning overlooking the river. Would recommend this place to anyone! What a lovely home!

A lovely Creole style architecture cottage right on the Cane River about a fifteen minute easy walk from the downtown historical district. Sonny, the inn keeper, lives next door. He is very congenial and has a wealth of information to share. He personally greeted us and showed us around the property. The cottage has a quaint grandma's lake cottage feel. The screened in back porch overlooks the Cane River and is a great place to read, watch t.v. or have coffee or wine and not have to worry about mosquitoes and other flying insects. There is also a an open backyard patio with table and chairs. Most wonderful is a stairway going down the river bank to a small deck right on the Cane River. A great place to have coffee, wine, read or just to soak in the serenity of the location. Rooms are large
