Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We drove from the airport to the Sullivan restaurant because we’ve eaten there before. This time was a disaster, they were out of so many items I finally asked the waitress what they did have to serve. Her response was she didn’t know. We were fed a few minutes apart missing two items. The meatloaf was cold loaded baked potato was missing. We also had chicken strips, breaded and the okra was missing and on top of that the breaded chicken strips were out. I complained to the manager on duty and she told me I was out of line. They didn’t do anything wrong. I paid my bill for everything even the items we didn’t receive. I’ll never forget that day when we were sorely mistreated by Cracker Barrel in Sullivan Mo… we will never go back to any Cracker Barrel

Walked in and asked to be sat by the fireplace as it was cold outside. We were told that they justcsat someone by the fireplace and they had to seat us elsewhere. Where they sat us as far from the fireplace as possible, right next to the cold window. My coffee showed up and it was barely warm. The food unfortunately has become mediocre over the past few years. I ordered pecan pancakes and they provided me with pecan sryup. Never heard of it before. This "sryup" had the worst possible taste and was watery. Next time I plan on stop at this cracker barrel I will ho across the highway and go to Rich's Famous Burgers. They do an excellent breakfast and care about quality.

Food was fine, but even though it was a fairly simple order for 5 of us, it was roughly a forty minute wait after ordering for food. Some of the food was hot, some was a bit rubbery so probably sat out on the pass too long. This is much longer than this chain typically takes when we've been before.

Busy as usual. Mothers day. Been a few years since I've been here. Took a while to get all our food, but that's too be expected. Although we were seated next to the kitchen doors, not one person was wearing a hair net. Oh well! Food looked delicious! Just wish it didn't take over an hour to get our food.

We went to this place on our way back to St. Louis. I’ve seen it’s ads everywhere on the highway so I’ve decided to give it a try. Well, I’ll say it did not meet my expectation. The waitress did all of our orders wrong. The wrong fried chicken is great, but the wrong fried fish is a bit tiny (you can tell from the pictures). Beside this, the food is ok.
