Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

When our food finally arrived after an extremely long wait it was actually tasty. But everything surrounding that moment was disappointing. The area where we were seated was freezing, and even after we asked to be moved, we were told no, despite several empty tables in plain sight. To make matters worse, there were no desserts available, the biscuits were cold and doughy, and several menu items including the southern fried chicken were unavailable. After all of that, we asked if anything could be done to acknowledge the poor experience. Instead of empathy, the manager responded with rudeness and told us not to ask for any complimentary consideration. It didn’t end there. Came in for some salt and pepper shakers for the wife and decided to stay and grab a bite as it had been a while. Server was ok but the food was delicious, the butter pecan french toast bake looked a bit odd when it came out but it hit the spot! Wasn't there long but the shakers did take a ridiculous 50% price increase unfortunately. Used to be $.99 and now they are $1.49, that's a heck of a jump... Have to pay for the remodels, oh wait, they scratched that idea because it was not a smart decision in the first place.. No clue why the jumped so much in price.

I remember coming here as a kid every weekend for breakfast. Came a few times as an adult and boy must I tell you disappointing and went down the drain. Hashbrowns are not the same pancake toppings are not the same , flavor is no longer there. But let’s talk about today’s experience my sister ordered stuff pancakes, and she specifically asked the waitress Will the pancakes be cooked with cheesecake in them? The waitress said yes, but when it came to the table, it’s a pancake flipped into a taco with cheesecake filling. Probably four strawberries on it had to ask for more. Asked for a specific cheese got whatever Came out the kitchen. Hashbrowns were burnt on the outside, not done on the inside. Eggs awful and was not scrambled. 3/5 Cracker Barrel ended up being on par with what I expected. This was our first time ever trying the food there and I like that you can order breakfast all day. I normally wouldn't want syrup with my pancakes or the amount of butter that was given, but that's how you manage flavor. While our server was kind, she ended up missing something that we ordered to-go. Now we'll never whether the $5 take and bake meals are any good!

The issue started when I came to pick up my order and called and gave the worker my curbside spot number and I watched someone come out with a horrible attitude walk to the wrong car while staring at me, and rolling their eyes. They then turned around went back in and decided to put my order back on the shelf. So then I went inside to pick it up. I ordered BBQ Bacon Smoke Stack burger which I ordered it well done and when I started eating my burger I noticed it was very pink and not to mention there was barely any sauce on my burger and it was cold. I already waited 40 minutes to get my order and dealt with nonsense so I didn’t even get it remade because I didn’t want to deal with more unprofessional customer service/bad service.
