Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The things I enjoyed to eat we’re very good. Sometimes the place is a little too busy so you might wanna plan early to go. You get better service when you go early because the waiters and waitresses don’t seem to be too busy to come back and see if you need anything else and your weight won’t be so long of course. I’ve always enjoyed that little restaurant if you’d like a country setting it’s great. Their store is adorable a great place for the tourists. The parking is great and the bathrooms are very clean. I thank them all for their service and hospitality every time.

Came into cracker barrel and I really wanted it to be a good experience and was looking forward to it. Was seated promptly but waited 10 minutes to be waited on. During that time, the customer sitting next to me complained to the waiter how long his food took and I thought to myself hmm. Received our dinner rolls which were good but from there it went downhill. After about another 10 minutes after placing our order, our waiter came over to inform us they were out of mashed potatoes, The turkey we had ordered, and casserole dish was out as well. So we switched to baked potato, and then after another five to 10 minutes he walked over to inform us they were out of those as well. While waiting, I watched two other tables of guests just get up and leave. I watched as there were numerous tables

I tried to love this CB, but the food is usually cold & doesn’t taste right. The corn is good though. Bathroom floors sticky - nasty. Twice the waitress tried to bring me the wrong meal. Not a huge deal because most are just kids learning. The atmosphere is pretty & I love the store portion, so if I ever go back it will just be for the unusual store stuff.

Great food and great service! Food was so tempting I forgot to take a picture before eating. I ordered the Uncle Hershel's special with 2 eggs over easy, stone ground grits, and 2 biscuits with sausage gravy and for the side I upgraded to buttermilk pancakes. So yummy 😋

The only disappointing thing this visit was the Fried Okra. Tasted “off” and had to send it back. Other than that, it was everything you’d expect from Cracker Barrel. Our server did a great job, and took care of things very well.
