Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This Cracker Barrel is located right off 1-26. We stopped here and ordered breakfast for dinner. Our waitress Laura, was very attentive and super friendly. Our food was cooked just right. If we have the opportunity, we will eat here again.

Glad to see no "changes" to this Cracker Barrel on our way through South Carolina to Florida. Chicken Herb dinner and my beef pot roast with sides were delicious. Our server, Fatima, was prompt and personable and checked on us frequently. She made sure a new batch of cornbread came to us and provided plenty of lemons for my sweet tea. I told her we must have been meant to be there because Up above our table was a framed 1950's DANCE poster from Northern Kentucky with Newport schedule dates. We are from Northern Kentucky and I am a retired school principal from Newport. What were the odds? Great lunch

Food good, but when I arrived to pick up order they told me they were out of a premium side. I got a substitution but it was less money so I lost money. And then when got home, the family size Mac n cheese didn’t have enough for all 5 of us.

I placed an $80 order for grilled tenders for an event and set the pickup time for 3:15pm at this location. I was running a bit late and arrived to the restaurant at 3:20, fully anticipating my order to be waiting for me. A staff member greeted me and called to the kitchen for my order, and I waited. After about 10 minutes another staff member walked back to the kitchen to check. He came back out and said they were “working on the order” which was confusing because we were well past my scheduled pickup time. Another 15 minutes went by and the staff member went back to check again, walked out and offered me a drink “while they finish up the order.” I declined as I was now running late for the event I needed to be at. Stopped in for breakfast for me & lunch for my husband. The biscuit benigets were delicious & we easily could've had those as our meals.
