CR Midnight Smoker BBQ

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our way home. The food, especially the brisket was soooo good. We have tons of leftovers and the people there were so nice - Thanked us for coming in. I think my favorite by far are the brisket egg rolls! By the way I had the BBQ pulled pork Mac bowl. My husband had the pick 2 meats. We both got an order of 2 egg rolls.

By far the best bbq we have ever had!! The atmosphere was great and customer service was top tier! The owner himself out talking to us and was so freindly! All the staff were so friendly and treated us like family! You know its good when you go to walk in and the people walking out tell you that you're about to have the best bbq ever! We left feeling full and very happy.

The BBQ pork sandwich is really good and the beef brisket sandwich was good but maybe a little more fatty than I like. BBQ beans good, the potato salad was different. I like selection of BBQ sauces. I'd go back. 2 sandwiches, 2 sides and 2 tap waters was $28 Love the atmosphere. Very clean and nice vibe.

Stopped here for lunch on Saturday while traveling. So glad we found this restaurant. The parking situation had us wondering if we made the right choice. But seeing and smelling the smokers as we walked in was a very good sign. The food we ordered was all very good especially the brisket and the beef sausage. All the sides we tried were good. They have a good selection of local beers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was great talking with the owner. If I could I would give this place 10 stars. If you are in Cedar Rapids i highly recommend that you visit this restaurant.

Brisket was amazing. Tender with just the right amount of seasoning. They run out because everything is served that fresh, so arriving early is a plus. Potato bowls were fantastic- tasty, savory, and very filling. Macaroni was smokey and delicious. Staff and customer service were top notch. Beers on tap and live music and small outdoor venue for events. The indoor seating area wasn’t large but had a fun vibe - decked out for Halloween this time of year. It’s the kind of local place we love to support - we will definitely be back.
