Cozy Afghan Bed & Breakfast

I absolutely loved staying here. It was quite clean, rooms were relatively large as was the bathroom. It was aesthetically pleasing. I stayed at Christmas time and it was beautifully decorated. Owner was super pleasant and accommodating Only tough part is that stair case- dragging baggage up it. Well worth the struggle

The Cozy Afghan was a pleasant place to stay. The woodwork was so beautiful. Our room was large and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was good also.The owner was very accommodating to our late check in.

We have stayed here a couple times and we love it. It’s quiet, clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. Very comfortable accommodations and the rooms are very spacious. The interior and woodwork are beautiful. It’s always a perfect stay and we will definitely be back again.

This was our third stay here and probably the best. It's been our choice when visiting the Pennsylvania Wilds, including Benezette and Parker Dam and Kinzua Bridge State Parks. ||The room and bathroom were fine. In fact, the room, number 54, was elegant. Loved the huge bathroom. We had stayed in 54 before and 58 the first time. The overall house is pretty neat. Love the woodwork of the staircase. Richard, the proprietor, is very nice.||Wi-Fi was good and we did use the pool and pool area. Price was great compared to hotels in the area. And we do prefer bed and breakfasts nowadays.||Only minor gripes are that the breakfast was just adequate, meaning nothing special. I mean, McDonald's has pancakes, sausage patties and coffee. And the TV, which was all streaming, was time-consuming to naviga

We stayed at the Cozy Afghan for one night while visiting Elk County. We typically enjoy B & Bs but this one could use some improvement. The house itself is charming. No one was there to greet us upon arrival but a phone call put us in touch with Richard who gave us directions to our room. The room was on the third floor, up narrow flights of stairs. We are 70+ years old and made it up but others in our age group might not be so athletic. Especially since there was no one around to help with luggage. Bedroom was dated and one wall stained apparently from leaks. Mattress not so comfortable, pillows flat, poor lighting, and towels were threadbare.
