Customer Reviews
This place was very friendly and homey. The decorations and staff are very nice and attentive. I got a BLT with fries, that was pretty good, standard what you think. The bacon was good and crispy and thick. The fries were lacking salt but nice and thick and crispy outside and soft on the inside. My fiancee had the vegetable sandwich and loved it. The only thing she would have changed was they put all the avocado on one side of the sand which and then cut it in half so only one half had it all. My friends got the loco moco with over medium eggs. They loved it. One devoured it and one wished she could eat more if she wasn't so full. My friend also got the French toast with fruit including strawberry, blueberry, and banana and whipped cream. He said the French toast was great and tasted prett
Super comfy breakfast spot that was packed but pushing them plates out. Hamburger was decent, however the tuna sandwich was tasty and the soup was great also. Would come back for breakfast again. 😋
30 minute wait time around 10 am but well worth it. Service was fast and got all of our food within 10 minutes. Food came out hot and fresh and the Our West Burrito for 11 dollars is hard to beat. Hot, fresh, cheesy devilishness. The biscuits and gravy were also a steal. tons of food for $8. Very generous portions and delicious definitely must try if you’re in the area.
First timer! The place was packed! We waited a little before getting seats at the counter. I think the owner was our server and she was so sweet, super nice and attentive. I was craving clam chowder and they had it on the menu, so I got a bowl. It was huge! It was a traditional New England clam chowder. What set it apart was their homemade salsa/hot sauce. I love how almost every place in Watsonville has their own secret, family salsa on the table. Hubby got the chicken-fried steak and orange-chocolate muffin. This place is popular for a reason! Good, home-style food, lovely service. Definitely worth the wait.
One thing, the entrance is in the back and so is the hostess. They need to put a sign on the front door to direct people to the back. Otherwise everything was delicious well prepared to our expectations ! The drive and wait of over 20 minutes was worth it! If you’re not hungry order from the kids menu.
