Coventry Public Works

Recycle hasn't been picked up in 3 weeks and this is not the 1st time by far. I've got every excuse in the book from the truck is broke down to car was in the way when it was 5 plus feet from the barrel. I don't care if the truck is broke down, fix it or buy another. We pay high taxes in this town and this is unacceptable. Update. I wish I could give zero stars. FIRST TIME I ever MISTAKENLY Put a non recyclable item in the barrel and the driver is outside my house blowing the horn at 7am telling me I'm getting a $500 fine. Keep in mind in 3 years we've never had an issue. I called the office and they said we aren't getting a fine and the driver gets yelled at so don't mind him! Don't mind him, he yelled and belittled me and I'm supposed to not pay attention. I have never lived in a city

Nice and quick. The yard agent is very friendly and respectful. Shows you where to go and lets you know he is there if you need help. The place is pretty clean considering and well organized.

So I contact Melissa on a yard waste issue and Kevin on a road issue. They reply to me within hours of my e-mail. Both of them are great to work with. Can't thank them enough issues handled.

Over 3 weeks no recycling pickup and excuse after excuse. All issues with no solutions. This trash/recycling pick up debacle has been going on for almost a year now. What is the solution coventry???? The only person from DPW that I’ve found to be pleasant is the man the works at the transfer station all the time. He deserves a raise. Everyone else..👎👎👎
