Cousins Bed and Breakfast

We wanted a homey stay within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. This was perfect!! Martha and Elmo were ideal hosts - knowledgeable, accommodating, clearly wanted us to have a great time...even moved my large SUV for me so another guest could move his boat...gave us info re places the kids would enjoy. The breakfast was so good and plentiful that we didn't need lunch. Our room and bathroom were very spacious. The house itself is very clean, colorful and comfy. Loved the artwork! I brought back some spices too.

I love this charming, cozy house. Ms Martha is a true gem and you will instantly feel like a "cousin". If you need rest and peaceful afternoons, this is the place. Easy walk into the main "drag" with restaurants, shops, and of course the beautiful island life.

This was our second time staying with Martha and Elmo, and we'll be back. They are delightful people, thoughtful hosts, knowledgeable, and gourmet chefs both. I am blown away by how much energy they put into making our stay enjoyable. The homemade breakfasts are ever changing, and often feature Elmo's spice line. If you have the time to sit and talk with them when things are quieter, you will hear heartwarming and inspiring stories. Highly recommended.

We had the absolute best time staying with Martha and Elmo, it truly felt like we were staying with family! The house is absolutely stunning and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the treehouse room, and it had everything we could have needed and then some. We could walk wherever we needed to go as they are in a prime location, only two blocks away from the main shops and restaurants. This was our first time visiting the area but thanks to Martha and Elmo we will 100% be coming back for years to come!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed with Martha and Elmo for a single night away, we wish it could have been longer!! We enjoyed wonderful conversation with our host and hostess in the evening and learned quite a bit about Beaufort. After an excellent meal prepared by Elmo in the morning, we headed out to explore the town and thanks to Martha and Elmo we were able to enjoy the town so much more than if we had simply explored without their guidance. We highly recommend staying with Martha and Elmo if you find yourself in Beaufort, you won't regret it!!!!
