Country Village Bakeshop

Country Village Bakeshop is everything good about the Shenandoah Valley baked into cinnamon rolls, cookies, pies, and more, enthusiastically served up by the most wonderful people. I’m on a quest to visit authentic bakeries around the world, a this bakery has a special place in my heart. I shop here for local honey as well. Fruit pies are amazing. Donuts are seasonal starting in September. Cinnamon rolls are a must.

Incredible homemade cheesecake here that is so delicious. I get one for my mom every Christmas and she looks forward to it every year. The workers here are incredibly sweet and I always enjoy the atmosphere!

Esther and her staff are just wonderful. If you don't see it just ask and they will make it happen. Very helpful and so polite. My go to, feel good place.

Absolute best Red Velvet cake in the whole area. It’s literally just like our grandmothers made long time ago with the authentic flavor and light fluffy frosting. So hard to find places that make it like this.

This is one of those places along a road that leads two and from but the shop itself is filled with amazing hard working people who put out a made from scratch baked goods, pies, jams, honey and connections to the community. Brought several things and the family loved all of it. The staff is welcoming and answer all questions. Worth a stop over and come back to for priceless food.
