Fresh, delicious tomato pies (including ones with toppings - like a super saucy pizza with a sweet sauce), great steak rolls and outstanding confections. Of particular note are the small sized offerings (pictured tomato pie, birthday cake) - these allow you to try their offerings without buying a quarter sheet of whole cake. In any case they are an exceptional value!
First time and loved the prices, selection and service. Everything was great. Only criticism is the cannoli 3” cake just tastes like an overly sweet icing and cake. Much too sweet for my taste. Had high hopes for that one 😕 the tomato pie was great, the seeded bread was great, cream puffs and eclairs all great.
I heard getting tomato pie here is a must, so on our last work trip to the area, my husband and I had to try it. We shared: - Classic Red Tomato Pie - Sweet Pepper Pie - Pepperoni Pie The classic tomato pie was fantastic. I'm no expert, but of the ones I've had in Philly, it's hands down the best. I didn't realize the Sweet Pepper pie was just peppers and bread, so I probably wouldn't get that again. I did enjoy the Pepperoni, but the classic was so good, I would probably just get more of it next time. The craziest part of this experience was how cheap it is. Each of the pies is between $5 and $6 and they're big. The three my husband and I got were too much food for the entire day. There's no seating, so you have to take your food to go. I'll definitely be back here next time I have
Corropolese Italian Bakery in Audubon is one of those places you walk into and instantly know you’re about to get something good. The smell alone—fresh bread, tomato sauce, and pastries—hits you before you even get to the counter. Their tomato pie is a local legend for a reason—it’s simple but perfect, with that sweet sauce and soft crust that keeps you coming back. The fresh hoagie rolls and Italian loaves are top-notch too; you can taste the difference compared to store-bought bread. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, grab a few cannoli or cookies—they’re fresh, delicious, and make a great treat to bring home. The service is always friendly, and the place runs like a well-oiled machine even when there’s a line. I love that it still feels like a family-run bakery even though it’s become pretty
I recently asked for a reveal cake for a couple and all I did was come in and show the baker a picture of what I wanted and she duplicated it exactly. Beautiful cake tastes good. It was exactly what I wanted and the price was perfect. I would definitely recommend this bakery.
