Cork Wine and Tapas

I recently enjoyed a lovely meal at Cork Wine and Tapas in New Bedford, MA, and it truly impressed me. I ordered the vegan vegetable pesto pasta, and it was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The pasta was coated in a vibrant pesto, paired with tender vegetables and bright cherry tomatoes, and topped with crisp greens that added a perfect touch of freshness. I also tried their non-alcoholic Pinot Noir, which surprised me with how smooth and rich it tasted. It paired perfectly with the meal and made the experience feel even more special. I had relaxed vibe that made it easy to unwind and enjoy my time dining with my daughters. Altogether, the dinner we ate was a delicious!

I hosted my daughter's October wedding in the private Taber Room upstairs, and it was absolutely perfect! Molly, the event planner, was incredible to work with - so organized, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She made the whole planning process stress-free and brought every detail to life just as I had imagined. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing - the guests are still talking about it! The gorgeous bar had a great selection of spirits and the bartenders created the signature cocktails to perfection. Everything ran so smoothly, and the bride and groom felt so taken care of from start to finish. Thank you to Molly and the entire staff for giving my daughter the most beautiful, intimate, and memorable wedding day she could have asked for.

My wife and I have been loyal customers of Cork Wine & Tapas for the past 4–5 years. It has been our go-to date night spot, and we’ve always loved it because the food was consistently exceptional. The calamari, scallops, and parmesan truffle fries were some of the best anywhere, and Cork stood out because everything on the menu was always high quality. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was disappointing. The calamari appetizer had far less calamari than usual and was mostly onions and banana peppers. The parmesan truffle fries lacked their usual crispness and truffle flavor, and the cheese didn’t seem to be the same quality as before. This was our second time dining here and it was even better with the beautiful Christmas atmosphere, both inside and out. Lots of great tapas and cocktails to choose from.

We were graciously welcomed by our waitress as the very first patrons of this Saturday afternoon.
