Cool Runnings Cuisine

This was by far one of the most disappointing experiences with oxtails ever. The other day I ordered Cool Runnings Cuisine for dinner. I ordered their Large Oxtail Dinner w/ Collard Greens, Cabbage, & Plantain. With Mac n Cheese as the side, and Peanut Punch to wash it down. First off you can count how many pieces of oxtail is in the platter. Maybe 5-6. For a large dinner platter one would at the very least expect more oxtails than that. The oxtails were on the dry side and had no flavor at all. The gravy it was in also had no flavor. They were also very stiff. The collard greens were impossibly bland and extremely grainy. The cabbage was pretty good, no complaints. Loved the different blend of veggies in the cabbage. The only real saving grace for this order was the Mac n Cheese. Not that

I went into this restaurant and was met with nothing but attitude from a light-skinned heavyset elderly black woman. She slammed my food and change, and banged on the counter repeatedly to get my attention instead of a simple "excuse me." Which she did not even need to do because I was in front of the counter deciding which cake I wanted to add to my order! Be patient! I was the only customer in there! I've supported this business so much myself over the years and even had family and friends try it. To have brought 100's of dollars to this business and be met with disrespect was disheartening as I would never patron here again. I don't know what this lady had against me! She even put the cake I ordered on top of hot food, causing it to melt! I didn't order upside down cake! When I used

This was my first visit and I enjoyed the Jamaican food that I ordered at this restaurant. The menu is varied and has something for everyone from entrees to desserts and beverages. Most meal choices are small, medium and large (they display container sizes near the order counter). Portion sizes and prices are reasonable. There are a couple of refrigerated cases displaying an array of soft drinks, including store made Caribbean beverages. The order counter has a hot case on top that displays patties and a display case underneath with pre-packaged dessert cake slices. Cash or credit cards are accepted forms of payment. The restaurant is clean and tidy and the counter staff is cordial and efficient. The entrance has large steps, so it is not handicap accessible and there is on-street parking.

Food was delicious!! My first time eating here. The food portions were huge and I actually got 2 meals out my dish. I got the jersey chicken, which was really good and well seasoned. The only thing I was missing was like a jersey bbq sauce. I also got Mac and cheese, which was ok, but still good. The rice and peas were so good and so much flavor. I tried everyone's food lol curry chicken was good, for me I just needed a little more salt. Oxtal was really good too!! My family and I will definitely be back. I really want to try all the drinks that have. Lastly the two women were really sweet and kind. I can tell they know what they doing in that kitchen, it smelled so good!!

Don't eat there unless you are CONSIPATED. Iwas sick and I brought two soup there when I open the soup it had colorful bubbles. I tasted it the soup was sour. Never again :( Belly runnings
