Manny's Texas Wieners

TWO MAN EAT. ONE MAN DIE. IDK. Ok! Ok! Ok! It is bitterly cold in Jersey today. Had to stop by the Home Depot where all of there room heaters are sold out. MTW. Manny’s Texas Wieners is THE PLACE. We had the French Dip and the cheeseburger deluxe with cheesecake for dessert. The cheeseburger was juicy. Cooked to order. French fries were perfect. Crispy brown and fluffy insides. But! The French Dip (why am I capitalizing?). If you see my bite, it is tiny compared to the size of the sandwich. The meat was sliced perfectly thick. The bun was warm and soft. But, bro?!? The au jus?!?! The dipping sauce. Perfectly piping hot. It didn’t burn the roof of my mouth but was exactly hot enough to warm the sandwich and my mouth. What an awesome place. The staff is really nice, you feel like you've known them your whole life. The food is excellent and specifically the panini in the picture was one of the best paninis I've had in my life. I've tried their burgers multiple times and they are excellent and their, "texas hot dog" is awesome. I also want to add that they make the best egg cream I've ever had. (Better than my favorite ice cream place.)

Old school spot with a ton of authentic charm. The big red and yellow wall menu gives off classic diner vibes and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We grabbed food to go and it came out fast and very reasonably priced. I went for the Texas dogs loaded and they were absolutely delicious. In hindsight I really only needed 1 instead of 2. These things are filling 😂 Manny’s isn’t your typical NJ hot dog joint either —it is more like a diner with plenty of options beyond the dogs. I saw a few philly cheese steaks making their way to a table and they looked delicious. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Located on a triangle where Springfield Avenue and Valley Street intersect in the Vauxhall neighborhood of Union Township (Union County), Manny's Texas Wieners is one superlative eatery. It's not just a hot dog joint, it's a three meal place to go, serving breakfast, lunch, and early dinner as well. The menu is quite extensive, and has many choices for your meal, regardless of what time it is. I came in for lunch just as the early lunch crowd was arriving, and they were at near capacity during my stay. This however in no way affected the speed of my service, as my order came rather quickly. I had the Texas Wiener Combo #1, which was quite good and very substantial. I even had to take some home. My hot dog sat too long on one side and was dried out, but it had good flavor. The fries needed more gravy; the cheese to gravy ratio was off and the soda was too sweet, not enough soda water and too much syrup. But overall it was good, the hotdogs were tasty, the fries were crispy and cooked well. The waitress was lovely! We'd definitely go back k, just adjust what and how we order.
