Customer Reviews
Great location! Honestly better than Aspen drive. I do wish this library system had the funds and were willing to put in the effort to join my library consortium (ccs) will consider registering my card with them soon!
Cozy atmosphere and good location. As for the language selection, one can find a completely illogical and disproportionate foreign language representation. As an example, Ukrainian section has a handful of titles despite of a constantly increasing population in the town and surrounding area. Needs review and addressing the issue.
One of the better library in all of Illinois from latest books, movies, mobile printing, scanning, audio lounge, magazine, your own personal booth, quiet room you name it to reserve room for meeting up to two hours with three hours computer time for guests also on Saturday you have the access to a tech to show you or inform you to use any new gadget. Awesome staff hands down the best librarian.also forget to mention there are movies every Thursdays.
Love my library. So many good resources. Books and much more.
Oh, how I adore this library! Coming from a small town in Maine where the library was very physically small, had short hours, and a quite limited selection, this library is amazing. Many books I read are translated works and I am so pleased to be able to find many of the books I seek on the library’s shelves (formerly I was practically entirely dependent on Maine’s inter-library loan system). As I chronically check out too many books to read in 3 weeks, the renewal policy is fantastic as you can renew (most) books twice. My five year old son loves to play with the communal toys in the kid’s section and they have many great kid’s books to choose from with beautiful artwork that make story time engaging for mom as well. It’s also always a joy to check in on our fish friends in the aquarium
