Commodore's Pizza

We order here atleast twice a month. Around 80$ each time. 4 people so normal. I always get a muffalletta with extra olive salad extra meat. It’s been downhill last few times. It’s basically a bread sandwich. Questioned the lady and she offered more olive salad but no meat. The email doesn’t work on the web site. So. They get a public review. If you want a better sandwich go to Walmart.

Homemade authentic italian food and down to earth restaurant. There is a unique delicious sweet marinara sauce on the menu that I loved and I never eat marinara sauce. The 8"pizza was loaded with veggies and I even took 2 slices home. The owner made my husband and I feel welcomed when he came to our table and asked how we were enjoying our meal. A great find while traveling around the country.

Hands down my favorite pizza place in hammond. I can’t choose a favorite thing to eat from here, because it’s all worth trying, but shoutout to the greek pizza and buffalo cheese sticks. If you’re visiting Hammond, commodores is where i’d suggest going for that goooood local pizza! 🍕

Delicious !! Good service and family atmosphere. Love the sweet sauce choice for my pizza the buffalo bread sticks outstanding. I would give 5 stars if not for prices being some what high. Recently returned in Nov 2021 enjoyed my meal with family. Took some photos of my pizza and buffalo bread. Rating same. Again still a fine choice for meeting family after a graduation in May 2025 the buffalo bread sticks still delish a favorite and the hamburger steak was outstanding.

Our thin crust pizza was not cooked all the way, the dough was flimsy and all the toppings slid off because it just flopped when I picked up a piece but the flavor was good. Atmosphere was just ok, a bit rowdy and the music was not great that evening...we will be back to try it again on a different night
