My husband and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite. The room was very spacious, clean and had an amazing view. Mrs. Anne was welcoming, helpful and very nice. I felt like we were visiting family. I liked that the kitchen was available to us if we needed to store food in the fridge and we could grab wine glasses or a plate as needed. The grounds were well kept and a very relaxing atmosphere. I'm trying to find another reason to visit again.
I had such a great experience at The Combsberry Inn! The caretaker, Abby, was so sweet and such a great host. I even had the please of meeting the owner, who told me all about the immense history of the mansion. It truly is one of a kind, and by far the most relaxing place I have ever visited. Pretty sure my heart rate immediately decreased the second I sat down and took in the view. The barn was so adorable with twinkle lights everywhere! Perfect for a romantic getaway or a wedding!
We were the only guests for a 4-day getaway this month. We stayed at the Oxford Cottage, with a fenced-in patio, working fireplace and little kitchen. ||The cottage was wonderful, neat as a pin and cozy, with a specatular water view, from the patio and living room.||The innkeeper was friendly and had good tips about places to eat and see. She served a wonderful full breakfast every day: from a fruit dish, to main dish to dessert, such as a muffin or cookies!||The cottage was not only dog-friendly, but they also did not charge fee for our furry girl! The fenced in patio was a great place to sit out with her while reading and enjoying the view. We saw deer in the yard every evening, even an albino!||The inn is a short drive to downtown Oxford, which has several nice places to eat, and
Just went to see it yesterday for our wedding next year and totally loved it. The barn is perfect. All the houses are amazing. And the water view is just what we were looking for. Can't wait for next year! Update: I know this is a little late but the wedding was AWESOME! Venue and views were to die for. Staff was great. Weather was perfect. Friends and family were truly impressed. Beyond all expectations. I would highly recommend Combsberry to anyone.
I took my wife for a weekend get-away to the Combsberry. We stayed in the Waterford Room which had a great view of the creek out back behind the house. We had a great fall day in St. Michael's while we were there and came back that evening. ||||The room was great, the only issue was that the bed was a bit stiff for our preference and we should have asked fir extra pillows while the inn keeper was still there in the afternoon. We had some difficulty with the thermostat as well, but that is on us. ||||Breakfast the next morning was great. I ate my big serving of quiche and the res of my wife's when she was done. It very good. ||||We felt very well taken care of during our stay, really enjoyed the location and look forward to coming back in the warm months to enjoy the water and prope
