Columbia Public Library

I was pleasantly surprised by this library. It was very clean, organized and beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the parking (however, I did visit during street cleaning time, so I couldn't park there). Also as a short girlie (4'11) some of the Books were really high up, even with the stools provided I couldn't reach. Otherwise overall great experience; will definitely be returning and bring my kids.

I’ve been going to this library for over a year and I’ve never once had a bad experience. Every time I walk into the library the staff is friendly, offering help anytime I had questions, helped me find books numerous times, & ALWAYS went above and beyond with everything they do. They’re events they hold are so fun & so educational for kids & people of all ages! They also hold classes to learn certain things like baking bread (among other things), crocheting, and alot of others. If you have the time PLEASE stop in and support your local library! This one is one of the best!

Local homeschool parent. I am blown away by how many free and really amazing children's programs this library is able to host. They are well thought out. The education books are also amazing. Makes my life as a teacher that much easier. The staff is always top notch and welcoming. I am greeted up on entering and if I can't find something they make it their mission to find it. The children's area is a blessing. I feel like my youngest son is safe and entertained at the same time. Yay for magna tiles! We also LOVE to check out stem kits. It seems like the adult books are also well thought out. I am seeing new popular (Booktok) books. Every genre is well represented. Something for everyone.
