Griddles Malt Shoppe

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch at this cute little place in Columbia! The food was delicious, staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was great. You definitely need to try their milkshakes! We would recommend Griddles to anyone looking for a unique place to have lunch.

The food was really good. Although they could have given more fries. My son felt like he barely got any but they were good. The chicken pot pie was amazing down to the thick homemade noodles exactly how I make mine. My wife's blt she said was really good too. Can't wait to eat there again. Wish they had their own homemade rolls and bread instead of martins. The bread always makes the sandwich. Just s thought.

Warm, welcoming, friendly, inviting staff, owner and chef. Great variety of meals, local cuisine like chicken croquettes, monthly specials with local ingredients, tasty milkshakes and malts. Highly recommend you stop in and enjoy a meal.

If you enjoy great food, this nostalgic eatery boasting of 'Columbia pride' is a "must do". What you see on the menu is what they do best! Do try the "Susquehanna Toast". It's French toast with frizzed dry beef creating an amazing sweet & salty taste experience. I've never ordered a hot dog in a restaurant until I saw theirs. OMG! It's a large, pure beef, halved dog grilled to perfection and served on a grilled roll. A customer in the next booth raved about their chicken croquettes. They are oversized, hand rolled and bursting with select chicken meat. Desert ... the owner was careful to select Bassett's of Philadelphia as their ice cream. I love ice cream and this is by far the best! I look forward to going again and again until I try all of their amazing dishes.

One of my favorite spots for breakfast/brunch/lunch! Always a lovely experience with the staff and every dish we have ever had has been delicious! My favorites are the chicken salad sandwich and the sausage gravy over brioche toast! Everything is so fresh and wonderful quality!
