I had a nice time here, great local spot :) I came in the morning to work with my laptop, there's free wifi, the atmosphere was nice, and there were some ample outlets (not at every seat so make sure the check). There's seating for 5-6 people, some table seating for 1-2 people and then classic bar style seating in front of the main window. Felt like the food was ordered within a reasonable time and staff were friendly! I had the caramel waffle with ice cream and Turkish tea, both were yum.
I honestly don’t even know where to start. We came here for breakfast — I wanted to surprise my husband with a cute morning date, start our day in a nice cozy place I saw on TikTok… but this place turned out to be a complete disaster. The restaurant was literally empty. Not a single table was taken except for one. We ordered a bunch of food, coffee, smoothies — and then just sat there… and waited. Twenty minutes went by, still no coffee, no food, nothing. Then finally — we hear the sound of the blender. After twenty minutes, they’re just starting to make our smothies. Seriously? Meanwhile, one of the staff members was sitting at a table talking on the phone the entire time like she was on a lunch break. And to make it worse — they were blasting Spanish music in a Turkish restaurant. Like
We stoped by our friends at this cafe and enjoyed the vibe, chai and simit! They were very friendly and served us very good.
Finally made it, was on my bucket list for several months. Great service, friendly staff, definitely plan ahead by booking a reservation, it opens at 10am. Breakfast for two was good, like the presentation, would of loved to get have an another egg option dish. Several fresh bread options included. Loved the tea and Turkish coffee. Liked the decor, very cozy, good atmosphere, service was fast. I have to come back and try more dishes. There were so many options to choose & sweets too. Street parking was a bit hard but not difficult.
I was here earlier today for breakfast/brunch if you will. It is an interesting place, and you’ll feel one of two things. It’s either homely and familiar or congested and somewhat claustrophobic. I felt the former even though I’d appreciate some more space. I get it, real estate is too expensive and it’s always cram season in Boston. The açaí bowl was wonderful even though I felt it wasn’t as creamy, more solid chunks of ice cold açaí in my bowl which probably didn’t blend well. I think this is more due to rushed service for the crowd that kept gathering. They’re far too busy and it seems understaffed for weekend brunch. The Turkish coffee was great and I also savored my baklavas. I think the pricing was perfect. I’ll be back again to try something different from their menu. Overall, ex
